Chao Phraya [แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา]
A homage to the city I live in since 2019 and my way to portray its majestic river. Cradle of ancient civilizations and witness of a pulsating city the Chao Phraya river is an iconic feature of Bangkok.
Rivers Chao Phraya [แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา] started with four panels: GENESI, ORO, SANGUE, ACQUA.
Subsequentely I added ARIA I, ARIA II, YELLOW and RED.

I. GENESI
The Chao Phraya basin before humans. The land how it must have been when the earliest civilizations first inhabited the area. Cradle of ancient civilizations, its waters breathe culture.

The Bangkok of luxury, marble and mega malls. Gems and gold merchants. Copper and nickels at the street’s corners

Words are a powerful weapon. For those who defend it as an undeniable right. For those who shed blood.

My artist page at PALETTE ART SPACE
PALETTE ART SPACE is located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The gallery was founded in 2019 by Watjanasin Char on purpose to combine contemporary art, digital art, and collectible designed like art toy in one place. In 2020, we launched White Canvas Thailand, an art contest for Kids and Youths, in order to support Young talented artists and art ecosystem in Thailand. Our Mission is using art activities to contribute to the well-being of communities and society through environmental and social measures. We believe that complex social problems can be solved creatively by people, polishing their sensibilities and knowledge about art.

MANGO ART FESTIVAL - Urban Collectibles
August 1-3 2025 @ The StandardX, Phra Arthit Road, Bangkok
Looking at maps of the Bangkok area I was captivated by the sinuous course of the Chao Phraya river. Keeping the silhouette of the river as the central shape, I started to think of colors shapes and patterns that would represent my perception of the city.
The four panels are made of MDF boards and finished with a combination of acrylic paint, sand, spray-paint, paper and glue.
While remaining committed to the original shape of the Chao Phraya river flowing through Bangkok, the options for customization are infinite, playing with colors, textures and thickness.
